Servicios Técnicos Industriales Internacionales S.A. de C.V. offers an integral service for the design, fabrication and installation of metal enclosures for land and/or submarine pipelines that present low thicknesses in the points determined by the integrity study or the failure report determined by an instrumented equipment. The models can be of the following type:

(A) - Simple going from pipe to pipe.

(B) - It has an annular space between tube and casing which is covered with resin.

Manufactured under the NRF-177-PEMEX-2007 standard and ASME Section IX code.

To guarantee the manufacturing of the metal enclosures, these are subjected to rigorous quality tests such as: Ultrasonic Health Scanning, Hardness, Welding Qualification (WPS,PQS,PQR,WPQR), Visual Inspection, Dimensioning, HIC Testing, Radiography, Adhesion Testing, Flexibility Analysis and Finite Element Testing.

It is worth mentioning that during the installation of the metal casing, the operation of the pipeline is not interrupted and the objective is to reinforce the lines of low thicknesses and thus avoid high risk failures that endanger the safety of the facilities, personnel and production management, as well as to preserve the environment.
